Drake and Bad Bunny were part of a team for the track MIA MIA (2018) as did Madonna and Maluma. Madonna collaborated with Maluma on Medellin in the year 2019. Reggaeton's mainstreaming was an issue for some artists by the year 2020. Rauw alejandro and a younger generation wanted to preserve the style. He incorporated electronic dance styles as well as other styles into his music.
